DAY 2: CITY AND COUNTRYSIDE

We´ll visit the following archaeological and religious attractions:

The Cathedral.- Colonial religious monument with an extraordinary artistic value.
Koricancha.- Religious Inca center best known as the “Temple of the Sun” stands out the impressive engineering used in this building.
Sacsayhuaman.- Located at 3 Kms. from Cusco city is an impressive fortress of monumental stones and excelent architecture.
Qenqo.- Ceremonial and ritual center where sacrificas were performed.
PucaPucara.- Old “Tambo” surveillance post used along all Inka trails.
Tambomachay.- At 7 Km. From Cusco city, ceremonial center to worship the water best known as the place of the waters.

DAY 3: SACRED VALLEY

Out of Cusco early to go to Pisac ruins on the route will make a stop at the lookout watch the Taray where impressive Sacred Valley of the Incas, finally arrive at Pisaq where we´ll visit the archaeological group and its market. Lunch en route, before continuing to Ollantaytambo where we will visit the impressive archaeological group and its terraces. Return to Cusco visiting to the town of Chinchero, rich in culture and archeology also in this place we`ll can see how the people dye and weave garments.

DAY 4: FREE DAY

 
Free day for doing several activities.

DAY 5:  CUSCO / MACHUPICCHU / CUSCO

Very early departure to Aguas Calientes. The trip takes about one and a half hours from Ollantaytambo and four hours from Cusco. Arrival at Aguas Calientes. We´ll up to Machupicchu citadel to travel through different locations we will observe the beauty of the temples, shrines and stairways connecting different levels on which the buildings stand.

In the afternoon we’ll board our train back to Ollantaytambo where a bus will be waiting for us to take us back to Cusco in less time.

DAY 6: CUSCO / SILLUSTANI / PUNO

We departure to Puno, we´ll trip for 8 hours appx. on the way we´ll visit the Chullpas of Sillustani sorrounded for a nice landscape. We´ll continue to Puno. Arrival to Puno. Overnight.

 DAY 7: PUNO/ UROS/ TAQUILE / LUQUINA / PUNO

This is a mixed tour because is by water and land, we´ll visit the following places:  Uros and Taquile islands, lunch in Luquina.

DAY 8: PUNO/AREQUIPA

DAY 9: QUARRIES OF LAVA VOLCANIC AND THERMAL BATHS YURA

Leave early to Yura Quarries of which is 7 km. Arequipa that are huge blocks of volcanic rock from which they extracted Sillar that is used for construction of houses and handicrafts, will continue for about 30 km more to where Yura of the SEASIDE RESORTS The baths are of the same name. Yura is a small village where we relax in their swimming pools with Thermo-medicinal healing properties for the hearing, arthritis, skin, digestive tract, etc. Lunch. Return to Arequipa.

DAY 10: SHOPPING (3 HOURS)

We´ll visit:

Alpaca manufactures, Inca Alpaca: Factory clothing, wool and fabric alpaca and vicuña.

The Craft Center Fundo Fierro: Cooperative of local artisans, you can buy jobs in ashlar, jorjado iron, wool, leather and silver.

Visit to the factory Anis Najar: Liquor characteristic of Arequipa.

The chocolate shop Iberica: You can buy chocolates in different shapes and caramels.

Tourist Center (Patio of Ekeko): Where can I buy original gifts.

PEDRO P. DIAZ: Company of leather, where you can buy from the smallest accessory to leather garments.

DIA 11: TORO MUERTO

Early Release of Arequipa. We will arrive for Majes Valley to visit this place and then visit the famous Petroglyphs Toro Muerto: 5 km2 of volcanic rocks etched with figures anthropomorphic, zoomorphic, and other enigmatic, with a length of more than 800 years. The people of Corire, the Valley of Majes known his huge amount of crops of rice, beans and fruit, in Punta Colorada beside the River Majes (Colca) you can taste the rich SHRIMP. In the afternoon return to Arequipa. (En route to appreciate the irrigation of the Pampas of Majes. Arrival in Arequipa in the afternoon.
