DAY 3: SACRED VALLEY
This
day we’ll head towards the Sacred Valley of the Incas, we
will visit: Pisac Ruins, Pisaq indian market and the
church. Then we’ll pass through Lamay and Calca arriving to
Urubamba were we will stop for lunch. We’ll continue this
trip until Ollantaytambo where you will appreciate
the village, the typical streets, and visit the wonderful
archaeological complex, with its terraces and enjoy the
wonderful view of the Sacred Valley.
Afterwards we’ll be heading to Chinchero village, so
rich in culture and archaeology like Pisaq and
Ollantaytambo.

DAY 4: TiIPON / PIKILLAQTA /
ANDAHUAYLILLAS
Early
departure from Cusco to visit the first archaeological
center in Tipón belonging to the Inca culture it
still has the beautiful water channels and terraces still in
use, and Pikillacta considered one of the best
urbanised archaeological sites its straight streets and
buildings are impressive. A visit to the sixtine chapel of
the americas, the church in Andahuaylillas a piece of
invaluable art decorated with frescos dated from the
colonial era. This chapel displays an extraordinary gold
filled decoration. Return to Cusco in the afternoon.

DAY 5: MARAS / MORAY / SALINERAS

The tour
starts with the participants pick up, during the trip we’ll
enjoy beautiful landscapes and colorful villages, visit the
archaeological complex of Moray and the salt mines.
Moray is a formidable archaeological complex composed of
experimental platforms and huge terraces, an inca
agricultural laboratory in which our ancestors experienced
and succeeded in hardening off several products and studying
results.
Agriculture was their main activity and their basic economic
development.

DAY 6: CUSCO /MOLLEPATA/ SORAYPAMPA
(SALKANTAY TREK)
Very
Early exit from Cuzco, passing through the villages of
Izcuchaca and Limatambo and after 3 hours of journey we’ll
arrive to Mollepata.
After a light breakfast we’ll began our long trek but at a
slow pace until we reach Silcacancha where we will have our
lunch.
After a short rest, we continue between green and beautiful
landscapes until Soraypampa where we will spend the first
night. Camp site and dinner.
DAY 7:
SORAYPAMPA / COLPABAMBA ( SALKANTAY TREK)
After
a good breakfast we’ll start the hike across Salkantay pampa
until we reach the highest point between Salkantay and
Umantay white peaks located at 4800 m.a.s.l. from where we
can appreciate the majesty of the surroundings.
After lunch we’ll continue the journey until Huayrac,
beautiful viewpoint from where we will continue to descend
until we reach the second camp in Colpabamba.
DAY 8:
COLPABAMBA / LLUSKAMAYU ( SALKANTAY TREK)
Breakfast.
This day will be an unforgettable one because we’ll
appreciate how nature changes we’ll go from whitepeaks to
interandean landscapes with a variety of flora and fauna
typical of this area, will pass by very close to the andean
community of Arranyanniyoc where we will start descending
towards the jungle’s edge where we will see small formations
of thermal springs that follow the Santa Teresa river flow
because of the warmth and humidity of this area a micro
climate has been formed.
And orchids made the most of it, and that because of their
variety and colors, experts around the world say these are
the most beautiful in the world. Finally we’ll arrive to our
next campsite in Lluskamayu. After dinner we will stay for
the night.
DAY 9:
LLUSKAMYU / HIDROELECTRICA / AGUAS CALIENTES ( SALKANTAY
TREK)

Breakfast.
We’ll start hiking through the jungle’s edge in a humid
semitropical climate with a variety of coffee, coca crops
and fruit trees close by we’ll see this view during most of
the trail until we arrive to Sahuayaco where we will have
lunch and then continue to the old hydroelectric complex
from where we will hike on the rails until we arrive to
Aguas Calientes where we will have dinner and spend the
night.
DAY 10:
AGUAS CALIENTES / MACHUPICCHU / CUSCO
Very
early inmediately after breakfast in the lodge we’ll board a
bus that’ll take us up to the Machupicchu citadel. We’ll
visit the impressive Inca citadel where we will appreciate
the urban area, agricultural area, towers, ceremonial
squares, sacred fountains, Intihuatana (solar watch),
terraces from where you can contemplate the Inca domains.
We’ll board the bus down to the village and pick up our bags
from the lodge, afterwards we’ll go to the train station to
board the train back to Cusco city. Arrival and transfer to
the hotel.

DAY 11: CUSCO / PUNO
Transfer
on a private transportation from Puno to Cusco, the trip
would last 8 hours, we’ll make several stops on route
visiting, Raqchi, La Raya and Pucara. Arrival at Puno,
transfer to the hotel. Dinner. Overnight.

DAY 12: PUNO / UROS / AMANTANI
We
will pick you up approximately 07:40am. And transfer you to
Puno’s harbor. We’ll be departing on a boat at 08:30am.
towards the Uros islands were we’ll appreciate the Lake
Titicaca national reserve an excelent place to observe wild
animals in their natural environment. Of the total of 30
floating islands we’ll visit two that are assembled with
totora a local water plant. After a nice ride we’ll navigate
to the Island of the same name Amantani to which we’ll
arrive after three hours, approximately at 13:00 once we
arrive the group will be divided into small groups to settle
in the local family houses where we’ll stay for the night
and enjoy our lodge, lunch, dinner and breakfast on the next
morning. Approximately at 15:00 hours we’ll walk climbing
towards the mountain top (4,150meters) to visit the
Pachatata Temple (Temple of the father), The music and the
meals are prepared in a typical fashion by the designated
families.
DAY 13: AMANTANI/ TAQUILE / PUNO /
AREQUIPA

Breakfast.
Departing from the Amantani Island at 09:00 towards the
Taquile Island we’ll have a boat ride for about one hour. In
this Island are the best knitters of ancient Perú. In this
place you will appreciate an intact Inca community as it was
in the past centuries, we’ll walk to the higher area of the
Island for around 30 minutes to arrive to the center of the
Island where we’ll stay for 3 hours and learn something more
about this impressive place and have lunch, afterwards we’ll
go back down on a 500 steps stairs. We will be departing at
13:00 hours to arrive to the Puno’s harbor at 16:00 hours.

DAY 14: CITY AND COUNTRYSIDE / JUANITA
MUMMY

Visit to the
Santa Catalina monastery, Cathedral, Main Square,
Yanahuara colonial district, church and viewpoint, Carmen
Alto viewpoint, countryside and Misti volcano, Chachani,
and Pichu Pichu, Typical Pre-inca terraces still been
cultivated, the Chilina valley, Sabandia mill, and the
Paucarpata neighbourhood.
In the afternoon we will visit the Santuarios Andinos
museum, there is a special camera frozen in the Lady of
Ampato or Mummy Juanita remarkably preserved, there may see
a video of how it was and where he was discovered and
rituals that were developed, The visit is guided. Transfer
to the hotel. Overnight.

DAY 15: AREQUIPA / NAZCA
Early exit in tourist transport to the city of Nazca, where
will take place in planes overflight from the sky to observe

DAY 16:
NAZCA / BALLESTAS ISLANDS
/ LIMA
Our
trip will continue in a tourist transportation to the city
of Nazca, where we will perform a flight in light aircrafts
over the Nazca lines to appreciate from the sky the gigantic
lines engraved on the sand. Overnight.
