DAY 2: LIMA / IQUITOS

 
Transfer to the airport bound for Iquitos. Arrival in Iquitos. Contact with the guide to go to the port of Niza by bus. Travel upstream to reach Muyuna lodge. Installing at the lodge. Lunch. Output canoe toward Pungal that is an area where there are figs which is the favorite food of birds Hoatzin because prehistoric birds that appear to have three hooks on their wings. In the afternoon will be the sunset of the lake Zapote. In the evening will continue with the adventure of white and black caiman, you can also appreciate the stars of the Southern Hemisphere.

DAY 3: IQUITOS

Breakfast. DAY 4: IQUITOS / LIMA

Leave in a motor boat into the Amazon River to see the pink dolphins playing around the boat and we can hear their sounds as our boat is fitted with hearing aids. Return to the lodge will see the aquatic plant world's largest Victoria Regia. Visit the Lake Purura where there are different types of fish, piranhas etc. Lunch at the lodge. Departure to Iquitos by boat in about 3 hours. Transfer to the airport bound for the city of Lima. Transfer to the hotel. Overnight.

DAY 5: LIMA / JULIACA / PUNO

Transfer to the airport bound for the city of Juliaca. Arrival in Juliaca us our mobility will be waiting for us to the city of Puno. Arrival in Puno. Transfer to Hotel. Overnight.

DAY 6:  PUNO / UROS / CHUCUITO / PUNO

Exit onto the floating Uros Islands, then know the people of Chucuito, whose main attraction of the temple fertility or Inca fled, colonial churches and the solar clock. This tour lasts about 4 hours aprx. Free afternoon. Overnight.

DAY 7: PUNO / CUSCO

Transfer to Cusco city in touristic transportation the trip will last about 8 hours approx. On route we will visit some places of interest like La Raya, Pucara, Raqchi and Andahuaylillas. Arrival to Cusco. Transfer to the Hotel. Overnight.

DAY 8: CITY TOUR AND COUNTRYSIDE  

We´ll visit the following archaeological and religious attractions:

The Cathedral.- Colonial religious monument with an extraordinary artistic value.
Koricancha.- Religious Inca center best known as the “Temple of the Sun” stands out the impressive engineering used in this building.
Sacsayhuaman.- Located at 3 Kms. from Cusco city is an impressive fortress of monumental stones and excelent architecture.
Qenqo.- Ceremonial and ritual center where sacrificas were performed.
PucaPucara.- Old “Tambo” surveillance post used along all Inka trails.
Tambomachay.- At 7 Km. From Cusco city, ceremonial center to worship the water best known as the place of the waters.

DAY 09: SACRED VALLEY

Out of Cusco early to go to Pisac ruins on the route will make a stop at the lookout watch the Taray where impressive Sacred Valley of the Incas, finally arrive at Pisaq where we´ll visit the archaeological group and its market. Lunch en route, before continuing to Ollantaytambo where we will visit the impressive archaeological group and its terraces. Return to Cusco visiting to the town of Chinchero, rich in culture and archeology also in this place we`ll can see how the people dye and weave garments.

DAY 10: CUSCO / AGUAS CALIENTES / CUSCO

Very early departure to Aguas Calientes. The trip takes about one and a half hours from Ollantaytambo. Arrival at Aguas Calientes. Accommodation at the hotel. Day free to perform other activities such as visiting the Aguas Calientes museum or enjoy the hot springs.

Note. - The entrance for the hot springs and the museum are not included.

 

DIA 11: AGUAS CALIENTES/ MACHUPICCHU / OLLANTAYTAMBO / CUSCO

This day we’ll climb to the Machupicchu citadel to travel through different locations we will observe the beauty of the temples, shrines and stairways connecting different levels on which the buildings stand. In the afternoon we’ll board our train back to Ollantaytambo where a bus will be waiting for us to take us back to Cusco. Overnight.
