DAY 3: NAZCA / AREQUIPA / MUMMY

Arrival to Arequipa. We´ll can visit the Andean Sanctuary
museum, were we can find, frozen in a special chamber The
Lady from Ampato or best known as la momia Juanita
extraordinarily well preserved, in this same place you can
watch a video about when and how she was found as well as
all the rituals that were develop in those days, the visit
is guided. Transfer to the hotel. Overnight.

DAY 4: CITY TOUR AND COUNTRYSIDE

Visit to the Santa Catalina monastery, Cathedral, Main
Square, Yanahuara colonial district, church and viewpoint,
Carmen Alto viewpoint, countryside and Misti volcano,
Chachani, and Pichu Pichu, Typical Pre-inca terraces still
been cultivated, the Chilina valley, Sabandia mill, and the
Paucarpata neighbourhood.

DAY 5: AREQUIPA / CHIVAY
We’ll
travel behind the whitepeak Chachani to Pampa Cañahua,
National Reserve of Aguada Blanca, We’ll appreciate some
vicuñas in the wild, typical andean landscape, grass or
Andean ichu, shrubs such as Tola, Ccapo or Yareta. Pampa de
Tocra. Bofedales and small ponds, birds such as the Kara-Kara
or andean hawk, Black Ibis, or Guallatas (Andean geese,
ducks, flamingos, vizcachas or wild rabbits. Continuing
along the route to Patapampa, viewpoint of the Volcanoes
Maximum altitude 4,800 meters nice view of the mountains
Ampato, Sabancaya, Hualca Hualca) Colca Valley viewpoint at
12:00 hours approximately we’ll arrive to Chivay. Transfer
to hotel, lunch. In the afternoon visit the thermal springs
in La Calera.

DAY 6: CHIVAY/ CRUZ DEL CONDOR / AREQUIPA
Early
morning at 06:30am. We’ll start through the left Colca river
bank until Mirador de la Cruz del Condor, depth 1,200 m
approx. The majestic flight of the Condor, visiting the
typical villages of Yanque and Maca "stone mock up", pre
Inca tombs pendants, beautiful costumes of each village, the
incredible number of Inca terraces still cultivated with
crops such as the andean potatos, corn, quinua. Return to
Arequipa City. Overnight in the Hotel.

DAY 7: AREQUIPA / SILLUSTANI / PUNO
Trip to Puno, with a brief visit to the Chullpas of
Sillustani where we’ll appreciate the Chullpas
surrounded by a beautiful landscape, then we’ll continue
with our trip to Puno. Transfer to the hotel. Overnight.

DAY 8: UROS / AMANTANI
We
will pick you up approximately 07:40am. And transfer you to
Puno’s harbor. We’ll be departing on a boat at 08:30am.
towards the Uros islands were we’ll appreciate the Lake
Titicaca National Reserve an excelent place to observe wild
animals in their natural environment. Of the total of 30
floating islands we’ll visit two that are assembled with
totora a local water plant. After a nice ride we’ll navigate
to the Island of the same name Amantani to which we’ll
arrive after three hours, approximately at 13:00PM we arrive
the group will be divided into small groups to settle in the
local family houses where we’ll stay for the night and enjoy
our lodge, lunch, dinner and breakfast on the next morning.
Approximately at 15:00 hours we’ll walk climbing towards the
mountain top (4,150meters) to visit the Pachatata Temple
(Temple of the After), The music and the meals are prepared
in a typical fashion by the designated families.
DAY 9: AMANTANI / TAQUILE / PUNO
Breakfast.
Departing from the Amantani Island at 09:00 AM towards the
Taquile Island we’ll have a boat ride for about one hour. In
this Island are the best knitters of ancient Perú. In this
place you will appreciate an intact Inca community as it was
in the past centuries, we’ll walk to the higher area of the
Island for around 30 minutes to arrive to the center of the
Island where we’ll stay for 3 hours and learn something more
about this impressive place and have lunch, afterwards we’ll
go back down on a 500 steps stairs.
We will be departing at 13:00 hours to arrive to the Puno’s
harbor at 16:00 hours. Transfer to your hotel. Overnight.

DAY 10: PUNO / CUSCO
Transfer to Cusco city in a tourist transport. The trip will
last about 8 hours. On the way we’ll visit some places of
interest like La Raya, Pucara, Raqchi and Andahuaylillas.

DAY 11: CITY TOUR AND COUNTRYSIDE /
PISAQ RUINS
We´ll
visit the following archaeological and religious
attractions:
The Cathedral.- Colonial religious monument with an
extraordinary artistic value.
Koricancha.- Religious Inca center best known as the
“Temple of the Sun” stands out the impressive engineering
used in this building.
Sacsayhuaman.- Located at 3 Kms. from Cusco city is
an impressive fortress of monumental stones and excelent
architecture.
Qenqo.- Ceremonial and ritual center where sacrificas
were performed.
PucaPucara.- Old “Tambo” surveillance post used along
all Inka trails.
Tambomachay.- At 7 Km. From Cusco city, ceremonial
center to worship the water best known as the place of the
waters.
Excursión length: 04 hours aprox. We’ll continue our journey
to Pisac ruins located in Sacred Valley. Overnight in
a Hotel.

DAY 12: PISAQ / OLLANTAYTAMBO/ PUMAMARKA / WILLOQ
We'll Start our visit to the archaeological complex of
Ollantaytambo where we´ll visit the impressive
archaeological complex, its terraces, then we´ll continue to
the last Pumamarka compound in approximately two hours, in
the afternoon will continue our walk to the Commonwealth of
Willoq where we’ll spend the night.
DAY 13 .- WILLOQ
This day we will participate in the villagers activities as
land preparation and preparing Pachamanca (Andean cuisine).
Breakfast, lunch and dinner, prepared jointly with the
locals.
DAY 14 .- WILLOQ / OLLANTAYTAMBO
In
this last day of coexistence with the people of the
Commonwealth of Willoq, we will visit their knitting
warehouses and appreciate their fabrics, in the afternoon
after a short farewell ceremony we will be returning to
Ollantaytambo to spend the night.

DAY 15: OLLANTAYTAMBO / AGUAS
CALIENTES
Early passenger pick up to head to the train station.
Arrival at Aguas Calientes, then we´ll go to the Machu
Picchu citadel we will observe the beauty of the temples,
shrines, enclosures and stairways that connect the different
levels on which the buildings stand. Lunch. Overnight.
DAY 16: AGUAS CALIENTES / CHINCHERO /
CUSCO

Morning free to carry out different activities like visiting
the museum, climb the mountain Putukusi, etc.
In the afternoon we’ll return to Ollantaytambo, where our
transportation will bring us back to Cusco city, make a stop
in the town of Chinchero to visit the colonial church
and also in this place we can see how the people dyes and
hand wovens garments. Arrive to Cusco.
