DAY 3: MUSEUMS AND CONVENTS (WALKING TOUR)
Guided
tour to the Church museum and La Merced convent, a
religious order of Mercedario’s which was founded in 1223 by
San Pedro Nolasco a French native, with the main intention
to redeem the captives, the Regional Museum holds an
important collection of paintings from the Cusquenian
school. Santa Catalina Convent in the Inkario was one
of the most important buildings on the vast square it was
the Aqllawasi Qosqo, a kind of monastery for Andean women
chosen among the most beautiful. The church is just as
beautiful and has an stylish altar, made of cedar and gold
filled in the central portion and at the upper part we can
see the "Sacred Heart" and below the images of Santa
Catalina and Santo Domingo there’s a pulpit carved in cedar
and four other golden altar pieces.
Pre-Columbian and Art museums. In this extraordinary
and historical monument it is summarized the history of
urban architecture in the imperial city, from the Inca wall
segments which still remains until the Republican era
balconies, overlooking the inner courtyard. Free afternoon.

DAY 4: SACRED VALLEY
This
day we´ll visit the village of Chinchero rich in
culture and archaeology as Pisac and Ollantaytambo.
Demonstration of colorful fabrics, we will observe the
natural way to dye clothes with natural colors.
Then we’ll descend to the beautiful valley of the Incas to
continue towards the town of Ollantaytambo where we
will see their typical streets and visit the impressive
archaeological complex and terraces and we’ll enjoy the
spectacular view of the Sacred Valley of the Incas. Lunch at
a local tourist restaurant. We’ll continue the journey
towards Pisac ruins, the Andean craft market and the
Church. Back to the Imperial City of Cusco.

DAY 5: CUSCO / AGUAS CALIENTES
Very
early passengers pick up and then go to the train station.
The trip in train will take about 4 hours from Cusco city.
Arrival at Aguas Calientes. Accommodation at your hotel.
Free day to perform other activities such as visiting the
Aguas Calientes museum or enjoy the hot springs. Lunch.
Overnight.
Note .- The entrance fee for the hot springs and the museum
are not included.
DAY 6: AGUAS CALIENTES/ MACHUPICCHU / AGUAS CALIENTES / CUSCO

This
day we’ll climb in a bus to the Machu Picchu citadel and
will observe the beauty of their temples, shrines, buildings
and stairways that connect the different levels on which the
buildings stand.
Return to Aguas Calientes for lunch and board our train back
to Ollantaytambo where we’ll wait for a bus that’ll take us
back to Cusco in less time.

DAY 7: CUSCO / PUNO

Departure in a private transportation to the city of Puno,
the trip will last about 8 hours since we’ll make several
stops on route and visit sites such as: Andahuaylillas
known as the "Sistine" Chapel of the americas, Raqchi, La
Raya and Pucara.
Arrival to Puno and transfer to the hotel. Overnight.

DAY 8: PUNO / UROS / TIAHUNACO / LA PAZ
Pick
up from your hotel at approximately 06:00 am to visit the
Uros Island, the tour will last about 2 hrs.
The Uros artificial floors are made of totora superimposed
and skillfully woven. We will continue to Tiahuanaco in a
guided tour, you’ll go on the trip to La Paz.
Arrival at 5:00 pm. approx. Transfer to the hotel.
