DAY 3: AREQUIPA / CHIVAY
The
ride takes 4 hours on a paved road. Behind the snowy
Chachani, Pampa Cañahua, the Aguada Blanca National Reserve,
Vicuñas in the wild, typical high andean landscape, typical
andean grass (ichu), shrubs such as Tola, Ccapo or Yareta.
Pampa de Tocra. Bofedales, some small ponds, birds such as
the Kara-Kara, andean hawk, Black Ibis, or Guallatas an
andean geese, ducks, some flamingos, vizcachas (wild
rabbit). Continuing along the route Patapampa, Mirador de
los Volcanes, Altitude 4.800 metres viewpoint of the
whitepeaks Ampato, Sabancaya, Hualca Hualca). Colca valley
viewpoint. Arrive to Chivay. And Transfer to Hotel.
DAY 4: CHIVAY / CRUZ DEL CONDOR /
AREQUIPA
Early
morning at 06:30am. We’ll start through the left bank of the
Colca River until Mirador of the Cruz del Condor, depth
1,200 m.a.s.l. approx.
The majestic flight of the Condor, visiting the typical
villages of Yanque and Maca. "Stone mock up", pre Inca tombs
pendants, beautiful costumes of each village, the incredible
number of Inca terraces still cultivated with crops such as
the andean potatos, corn, quinua, kiwicha, olluco and more.
Time for lunch in Chivay and then return to the White city
of Arequipa. Arrival at Arequipa in the afternoon.

DAY 5: AREQUIPA / CUSCO / CITY TOUR
IN CUSCO (domestic flight)
Transfer
at the Hotel in Cusco. In the afternoon City Tour. We´ll
visit the following archaeological and religious
attractions:
The Cathedral.- Colonial religious monument with an
extraordinary artistic value.
Koricancha.- Religious Inca center best known as the
“Temple of the Sun” stands out the impressive engineering
used in this building.
Sacsayhuaman.- Located at 3 Kms. from Cusco city is
an impressive fortress of monumental stones and excelent
architecture.
Qenqo.- Ceremonial and ritual center where sacrificas
were performed.
Puca Pucara.- Old “Tambo” surveillance post used
along all Inka trails.
Tambomachay.- At 7 Km. From Cusco city, ceremonial
center to worship the water best known as the place of the
waters.
In the afternoon departure to the Sacred Valley of the Incas
on route we’ll visit the traditional village of Chinchero,
then continue toward the Sacred Valley where we’ll spend the
night in a Sacred Valley hotel.

DAY 6: TIPON
/ PIKILLAQTA / ANDAHUAYLILLAS

Early departure from Cusco to visit the first archaeological
center in Tipon belonging to the Inca culture it
still has the beautiful water channels and terraces still in
use, and Pikillacta considered one of the best
urbanized archaeological sites its straight streets and
buildings are impressive. A visit to the sixtine chapel of
the Americas, the church in Andahuaylillas a piece of
invaluable art decorated with frescos dated from the
colonial era. This chapel displays an extraordinary gold
filled decoration. Return to Cusco in the afternoon.

DAY 7: SACRED VALLEY (WITH
OVERNIGHT IN SACRED VALLEY)

This day we
will go to the Sacred Valley of the Incas and we´ll visit:
Pisac ruins, the Andean craft market and the Church.
After passing through Lamay and Calca we’ll arrive to
Urubamba where we will stop for lunch in a tourist
restaurant.
Continuing the journey to Ollantaytambo where you see
the people’s typical dresses and streets and visit the
impressive archaeological complex, terraces and architecture
and enjoy the spectacular view of the Sacred Valley of the
Incas. Overnight in Sacred Valley.

DAY 8: SACRED VALLEY / AGUAS
CALIENTES / MACHUPICCHU / AGUAS CALIENTES

Very early departure to
Aguas Calientes. The trip will take about one and a half
hours. Arrival at Aguas Calientes. Accommodation at the
hotel. This day we’ll climb to the Machu Picchu
citadel to travel by key locations will observe the beauty
of their temples, shrines, and stairways that connect the
different levels on which the buildings stand. Free
afternoon to perform other activities.
DAY 9: AGUAS CALEINTES/ OLLANTAYTAMBO / CHINCHERO / CUSCO
Free
morning to perform activities such as visiting the Aguas
Calientes museum or enjoy the hot springs.
Note. - The entrance fee for the hot springs and the museum
are not included.
In the afternoon we’ll take a train back to Ollantaytambo
where a bus will take us back to Cusco after making a visit
to the village of Chinchero, in this place we can see how
the people dye and knit garments.
